Sick in Granada

Hola!!! So...it's been two weeks since I've posted anything...So sorry!! I've been busy and sick.  I think I mentioned in my last post that I got a bad cold after going to Sevilla.  Well, that turned into a bad ear infection as I have a large history of ear problems....and I needed to go to the doctor twice for different antibiotics because it just didn't want to go away.  Once the ear infection was finally subsiding, I was hit pretty hard with a violent stomach flu. Yep, it's been a lovely couple of weeks for me.  However, I do believe that I am doing well now and hopefully will continue to do so for the rest of my trip.  So, I've just been in Granada over the last couple of weeks, I have done some exploring and such and have some more pictures of course.  We went on a hike last weekend (Jana, Craig, and myself), which was really fun.  We also had a flamenco excursion, for which we had a dance class, tapas, and watched a flamenco performance all in one of the caves of Sacromonte, which is a neighborhood of Granada.  This past weekend, there has been a film festival called "RetroBack" here in Granada for the last couple of weeks, so Jana and I went on Friday and saw "The Barefoot Contessa" starring the lovely Ava Gardner.

So, that's it for now.  Coming up, I think next weekend I'm going to Cadiz, which is a city four-five hours away.  They have a two week long festival which is supposed to be really fun.  I think the 3rd weekend in March, Jana and I are going to Berlin, so I'm getting really excited about that! We kind of just booked it, it was pretty cheap so it will be an adventure!

I will try to blog more often now that I'm not sick and tired...try....hahaha.
