Hola! This post is a little different...There is a lot of graffiti or street art here, some of it is not good, but some of it is quite amazing. One day I just decided to take pictures of some of the art on my way to school...so the following pictures are only on my route to school, there are many many more paintings around the city.
There is one artist in particular, called "El niño." In Spanish that just means "the boy." El niño is actually really well known around Europe for his street art, and he is from the Realejo neighborhood here in Granada, so there is a lot of art. El niño has different markers for his art, a lot of the pieces have gears of a clock incorporated in them somehow, as the one below has. Sometimes there are sayings that mean something, the one below says He will save us from ourselves. I put El niño above all of the pieces that I know are from him.
Anyway, I thought it was an interesting piece of the culture here and I wanted to share it.

I think that the art is very interesting, so stay tuned for more as I encounter them!
